About the Mágica Chem- and Allergen-free apartmette:

We'll ask you to complete your background and credit check through one of the websites where this is listed - Furnished Finder, Zillow, etc.

Travelling nurses and healthcare professionals price:  $1630/month, or $4300 for the 13-week contract.  Includes all utilities and services.

If you are a vacationer who would like to enjoy the experience, the vacation rental rate is $2245/month.  Includes all utilities and services, plus optional Mágica outdoor activties such as guided grounding/meditation on the lawn, living apothecary tours & samples, veggies & herbs in season, & your gardeny guest requests.

NEW OPTION SUMMER 2024:  unfurnished month-to-month for $1500/month includes utilities (water, sewer, wifi, trash) except electric, and no extra services.

All rentals:  Security/Damage deposit equal to one month rent, plus fully-refundable cleaning deposit of $1250.  This is non-negotiable.  We offer a spectacularly clean, sanitized, allergen-free, chemical-free, energetically balanced space and it is kept that way.   

We ask that we meet via video chat so you can see everything in detail and ask questions, make requests, etc.  Everyone needs to complete the background/credit check and healthcare will also need employment verification to include start and end dates of your contract in Taos please. 

We are conveniently located <2 miles SW of Taos plaza, and 2.5 miles from Holy Cross Hospital - that's just a 6-minute drive - the 1br/1ba, 720sqft private apartmette is super-clean, super-secure, peaceful, and allergen/chemical-free - a respite from the hectic world, situated in the beautiful lush riparian valley lowlands.  We're not fancy or upscale, but consciously maintain our atmosphere for ultimate cleanliness, comfort, and zen calm. 

All utilities plus wifi are included in furnished price.  Your comfort is most important, so feel free to make requests and add personal touches to feel at home during your stay.  We do not use tobacco indoors, nor wear shoes indoors.  There's a convenient tile entryway inside the door where you can easily remove shoes.  Incense and natural smokes/scents are fine indoors.  The unit has 5 steps up to the entry door and plenty of onsite parking within the secure fences. 

Full service option (healthcare and vacationers) includes weekly linen service (bed and bath linens, doorstep exchange), doorstep trash pickup, and snow removal every morning it snows.  Enjoy the little luxury of freshly laundered and pressed sheets - lying your tired head down on ironed pillow-cases is a sublime feeling you'll forever after appreciate ;-)   Linens include the bedsheets and pillowcases (6 pillows for your comfort), as well as the bath and kitchen towels.  Each week, on a day of your choosing, leave your used linens on the doorstep in the hamper and they are replaced with a fresh set – magic!  Each set of linens includes the full sheet/pillowcase set, 2 bath towels, 4 hand towels, and 6 washcloths for your convenience.  Hampers, hangers, and clothes rack for drying are provided – light fabrics and hand-washables dry in a few hours  here in the low humidity of the high desert.  For heavier fabrics and scrubs, use one of the full-service launderers in Taos - they're inexpensive and super-convenient - $15 for a double-load, cleaned and folded, ready to pick up, a little more for the all-natural option.   Experience the bliss of not doing laundry for a few months ;-)

The apartmette is newly fully re-furnished with a few antiques and quality new (the Turkish cotton bath linens are totally dreamy).   It is the smaller unit of a duplex building and we personally remain 100% Covid free as of Sept 2024 - yay!  There is no shared air, or air circulation, between the units, so everyone stays safe.  The new mattress is non-toxic memory foam and coil hybrid - amazing.  It is always zip-covered and cleaned between guests.  To maintain spiritual and physical purity and allergen-free cleanliness, we do not allow animals indoors in the human living spaces. 

 

Our Sacred Waters of Life Nemea Spring & Living Apothecary apartmette space has been used for herbal healing and Tibetan crystal singing bowl meditations for years, so the vibrational energy is high and clear.  Prior to that, we rented it through a popular vacation rental site.  That worked out well, but thorough sanitization of everything, every week, was just too much physical work for an ageing bod’.  The apartmette is now again available for guests to experience the sacred peace of our consciously stewarded natural space and the humble services we provide as an integral facet of spiritual practice.  We want you to feel cozy, safe, serene, and a bit pampered - giving back as a cosmic "thank you" for our hard-working medical professionals. This is a private property, woman-owned and solely-managed, with extra security measures for safety.  The entire property is fenced and gated, with motion lights, outdoor cameras, and rescued German Shepherd Dogs (GSD, females only) guarding us well.  The feeling of safety encourages blissful deep sleep, mere feet above the pure Nemea natural spring waters below the property grounds.  

 

A stay at the apartmette is an opportunity to refresh your spirit with deep breathing in the pure high desert air, in the intense sunlight of 6900 feet (2100 meters) elevation, and with deliciously pure deep-well and healing natural-spring water.  Rejuvenate the soul and commune with nature on our gorgeous, lush, all-organic 3+ acre property - enjoy the wildlife, the living apothecary, and herbs/veggies in season.  Outdoor recreation of all kinds for every season abounds in the Taos area, the local art scene is charming, and the local museums astound with the 1,000-year history here. After long shifts at work, or a day exploring a very cool part of the country, returning to the apartmette, you breathe a sigh of relief.  Experiencing the natural atmosphere all around and onsite allows for a time of meditative/prayerful peace, amplifying your own inner calm and healing, connection with the earth energy, soothing the CNS.

Indoors:  High ceilings and gorgeous morning light allow for a bright and airy, yet cozy atmosphere.  We do have excellent room darkening curtains on the windows for the night-shifters.  Private, duplex-style unit includes everything: electric, sewer, hot water, high-speed internet, trash, and all outdoor maintenance - mowing/trimming/flower-beds in summer and snow removal in winter (including from your vehicle with your permission). 

Living area & kitchenette (14x20) pergo/tile flooring with area rugs, bedroom (14x16) wool wall-to-wall with 10x13 white/ivory area rug, big closet (5x12), big tiled bath with 2 sinks, deep tub and shower stall.

Kitchenette includes: brand new fridge, new microwave, new extra-large convection oven (fits 13"x9" pan), new programmable coffee maker, new 2-burner stovetop, kitchen linens, cool antique utensils, tea, honey, wineglases, 2-gal water dispenser in the fridge, more :-)  Please note that the kitchen area is not a full kitchen (no sink) but perfectly functional for everyday use and the bathroom has 2 sinks and dishwashing set-up (works fine).  Also included:  excellent iron, board, 2 laundry hampers (one for linen service, one for you), and a metal drying rack.  Plus bathroom essentials to get you started, herb teas & honey.  Starter groceries etc upon request.

Outdoors:  Incredible sunset views from entire property.  Enjoy the evenings from the lovely firepit in the lawn area.  Enjoy meditating by the lovely spring pond (inhabited by friendly and curious koi), feel the healing waters soothe your spirit under the willow tree, commune with resident and visiting wildlife (red-tailed hawks who hunt the surrounding fields, boreal owls at night. leopard frogs, butterflies, a cute fox, more), rest the soul among the whispering marsh grasses of the Taos Valley’s most valuable wetlands as you fall into the impossibly blue sky above or enjoy gazing up at the Milky Way on clear nights.  Partake of the medicinal herb living apothecary, with delights to be found year-round.  Spring and summer are full of fresh-cut herbs for cooking and health; autumn is time for harvesting roots and seeds – licorice root is in abundance and the plants yearn to be part of our healing – enjoy!

Security:  The entire 3-acre garden property is fenced, gated, and posted.  Security cameras abound.  Motion detection security lights add extra protection at night.  Three resident GSDs patrol the grounds.  They're friendly and we keep them contained so they don't bother guests.  Note:  the gates are manually operated – get out of the vehicle to open and close; gates stay closed and locked except for ingress and egress.
