These are the seeds we use to grow our plants, so they're proven.  All are harvested at peak ripeness from mature plants grown onsite.

Garden tour visitors are welcome to harvest seeds for personal use as available.

Things we have lots of, like mugwort and wormwood, are inexpensive in bulk.  Herbs such as the red sage and ashwagandha you'd have to convince us to part with.  Some we have plenty but also use most of it here - such as the Self-Heal (Prunella vulgaris) we use in Magic Salve. 

We strongly encourage you to come harvest for yourself :D  Its only $40 for the garden tour including filling your shopping totebag (or spend a couple or so, whichever's first, & we'll show you how, too).

All live plants ship via USPS Priority mail - they ship beautifully!

Want to save on shipping?  Order a few plants so we can use a USPS priority flat-rate shipping box & either refund overage or send more plants :D 

 

Shipping:

Dried herbs, seeds, tinctures, and HABA products ship USPS First Class mail, with insurance optional.  Can ship UPS if cheaper and arrives in a few days.

Each plant box is labeled with “fragile” and “up” arrows – most on every side of box – as well as “perishable” and  “keep cool” neon instruction.

Each priority mail plant package is insured with $50-$200+ insurance for full cost (product + shipping) in case of damage in transit (very rare).

All of our printing paper is 30% recycled paper. Our packing materials are re-used, recycled, or at least 30% recycled materials.

Want to save on shipping?  Order more items so we can use a USPS Priority 2-3 day flat-rate shipping box:  small ($9.95), medium ($16.65) or large ($24.65), contact us to consolidate shipping :D

 

Product Care Instructions:

  • Live plants:  Unbox and water immediately upon delivery.  Trim off any damaged leaves & cut back if/as appropriate for variety.  Keep in cool shade for at least a few hours to breathe and recover a bit from transit, then plant in larger pots or outdoors, as appropriate for variety, as soon as possible.  Magica plant babies like some humates and organic fish emulsion fertilizer occasionally 😉
  • Bareroot Plants:  Unbox and plant immediately.  Water well, fertilize, trim back. New growth will appear from roots/base in 24 weeks. Humates and organic fish emulsion fertilizer encourage fast growth.
  • Bulbs: Plant asap, or, if necessary, store in cool, dry, dark, breathable container.
  • Seeds:  Plant asap or store in a cool, dry, dark container.
  • Dried Herbs:  Store in a cool, dry, dark container.
  • HABA Products & Potions:  Store in a cool, dark place.
  • Singing Bowl Meditations:  Just enjoy!  Quality speakers enhance pure sound transmission. Use headphones or earbuds for binaural beats.

 

ALL Magic Farm Taos plants & herbs for remedios/potions are grown in accord with organic certification standards by a 30+ year grower and former commercial producer.  All plants are hand-tended & we ship out only the best!  All dried herbs are hand-harvested and air-dried/cured indoors in the exceptionally clean Magica Studio.  See “About” to learn more about Magica’s history and mission.

 

Returns/Refunds:

We list for sale only the best of what we have; we ship only the best of those.  Every package is labeled with full carrier instructions; priority mail shipments are fully insured.

As with your local apothecary, plant nursery, or personal product vendor, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds.  As soon as the product leaves our hands (via shipment or local pick-up), we can neither control nor bear responsibility for its condition.

We are happy to help facilitate your insurance claim in the rare instance of damage in transit. 😊
